Join us as we make our Christingles during our regular Sunday morning service, reminding us that Christ is the Light of the World.
We are also collecting for the Children’s Society. You can give on line by clicking here.
Carols by Candlelight
Come and enjoy traditional Christmas Carols, poems and readings by candlelight, as we retell the story of Christ’s birth, the real meaning of Christmas.
There’s mince pies and mulled wine to enjoy afterwards!
Bishop of Southwark's visit & Christmas Party
The Bishop of Southwark, Rt Rev Christopher Chessun, will be joining us on the 3rd Sunday in Advent for our morning Eucharist.
After the service we will be celebrating together at our Christmas Party.
Do come along for food and games.
Community Fitness Launch Day
An opportunity to try out different types of exercise classes before they start weekly in January.
Community hall:
10 am - Dance fitness class
11am - Chair exercise Class
12pm - Yoga class
1pm - HIIT class ( High intensity interval training )

Remembrance Sunday
Our Remembrance Sunday service will take place in Church. We will hold the 2 minutes silence and Act of Rededication at 11am. After teh service we will process up to the War Memorial outside the old Church on Wells Way.
Please join us. We will also try to stream the wreath laying live on Facebook.
Harvest Festival
At Harvest time, we give thanks for everyone who provides our food, from farmers and fishermen, to people who process, pack and deliver our food. We also remember those who are need our help by collecting things to help them.
We will be collecting for The Manna Society.

Epiphany service
Epiphany service to celebrate the arrival of the Kings at the crib.
Chalk will also be blessed for you to take home and bless your house at the beginning of the year.
Instructions for Blessing your Home
Using the blessed chalk mark the lintel of your front door (or front porch step) as follows:
20 + C + M + B + 23 while saying:
The three Wise Men, Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar followed the star of God’s Son who became human two thousand and twenty-one years ago. May Christ bless our home and remain with us throughout the new year. Amen.
Then offer the following prayer:
Visit, O blessed Lord, this home with the gladness of your presence. Bless all who live or visit here with the gift of your love; and grant that we may manifest your love to each other and to all whose lives we touch. May we grow in grace and in the knowledge and love of you; guide, comfort, and strengthen us in peace, O Jesus Christ, now and forever. Amen
